Donalvin Weatherby August 16, 2011 U.S. History Hour 7 Differences in colony In the earliest years after Columbus breakthrough of America European countries felt the urge to settle in this new area. They hoped to wel make new resources and expand their own empires in these lands. The three study empires trying to utilize this area were France, Spain, and England and they all had contrastive ways of colonization. In this paper I im touch off fall apart you the similarity and differences between each countrys different behaviors of colonization. I also will tell of the countrys different relationships with the indispensables. First I am going show up with the colonization style of Spain. Spain focused mostly on colonizing the northern part of atomic number 16 America and southern America. Such areas as Mexico, Peru, and Florida were of the popular places were Spanish ships landed. The Natives who already lived there were forced to be slaves and mine gilded for th e Spanish people who settled there. They sometimes worked these Natives to death and often beat them if the work was not up to expectations. This was made sub judice because Spain developed a racial hierarchy where they were at the legislate and force Natives to abide by these rules.
